SULAIMANI — A fire broke out at a food warehouse in Duhok city on Wednesday (June 30) requiring five teams of firefighters to fight the blaze.
Spokesperson for Duhok Civil Defense Bewar Abdulaziz told NRT that it is not clear yet what caused the fire.
He added that the warehouse next door is used to store bottled oxygen, so the firefighters are concerned about the fire spreading to that building.
No casualties were immediately reported.
Earlier on Wednesday, a furniture store in Erbil city caught fire and the building collapsed.
