SULAIMANI — The HDP Bağcılar District Organization is training people to face every possible situation that may arise during the Turkish elections at the polling stations, including the identification of voter fraud and ballot stuffing.
The course teaches everything from how to locate an election office in each district, to how deal with adverse situations that may arise. The party is using slides and handbooks.
HDP Bağcılar Election Commission member Zekiye Ilbasan noted that, in previous elections, votes were not counted by AKP officers and other irregularities and fraud were common.
İlbasan said that they will do whatever it takes to guarantee the safety of the votes and polls. "In Bağcılar, we are training polling officers at every station. We started these trainings in order to prevent the irregularities and frauds that are likely to occur.”
İlbasan said that training programs are available for people between the age of 18 and 30.
"In this election, our young people consider the safety of this election very important and they are participating in the courses,” she added.
